Maybe next time if you get another dog, you should make it a Alzheimer’s dog. That would definitely help

Maybe a Alzheimer’s dog would have helped. Mugsy must have been a very loyal and loving dog. May he rest in peace.

Am hoping this blog will help those that live with a loved one, that suffers from this, can get some relief that they are not alone and that there are ways to get to know crazy in your own ways that work for your families.

We can see through the DropCam what he is doing so if he’s sleeping a lot, we talk to him through the DropCam and get him up doing things like playing cards, rolling pennies, and even putting poker chips back in their holder (yes we dump them out every chance we get so that this can occupy his time and he enjoys it!) Dan even rigged the table so that when we do the poker chip pile, they won’t slide off the table. This was not an overnight thing, but through trial and error, we figured out how to get as many of the things he likes to do right and effectively.
